Curtis Airport Fly-out

Camping adventure hosted by EAA 609.

A fun fly-in on a private grass strip with a hosted breakfasts and potluck dinners. Expect bonfires, peanuts, oysters and camaraderie! The locals love to spend the day out at Copalis state for the day so if you want to try landing on only charted airport on a beach, this might be a great opportunity.

Ample space to park and camp under your wing with everything from Aeronca Champs to Seabees to RVs. We like to fly during the day and eat too much in the evenings.

0WA2, 7 NM SW of KCLS. 2100 Foot turf Runway with landing to the North being the best option. Crosswind runway available for STOL aircraft only.
