An Emergency: The Landing, the Investigation, and the Lessons Learned
Josh Pruzek will discuss the events leading up to his emergency landing in the T-6 Texan July 2023 in La Grande and the fallout and aftermath of dealing with the FAA, the NTSB, and the insurance company.
Each year beginning in 1968 Columbia Aviation Association conducted Flight Profile and invited CAA members and non-members to brush up their aeronautical knowledge and flying skills through three sessions of ground school and a flight with a CFI. This is all sponsored by CAA with no additional cost to participants.
CAA Flight Profile is open to all members and non-members at no additional cost
Ground school sessions are conducted on three Thursday Night dinner programs beginning April 23rd and are followed by a two-hour Flight Check held on Saturday May 9, 2026, departing from the CAA clubhouse on Aurora State Airport. CAA's Member CFI’s contribute their time to fly with members and non-members to to evaluate skills and to share knowledge and experience.
