Warren Bean's De Havilland Canada Beaver MK.1     N5349G

Beaver on Floats
1954 De Havilland Canada Beaver MK.1

1,631 of these planes were built between 1947 and 1963. Approximately 1,000 of them were ordered by the U.S. Military. It is thought that over 900 Beavers are still in private service throughout the world, and at least one is known to have logged more than 40,000 hours of service. This plane has been named as one of the top ten Canadian engineering feats of this century. They are still considered the ultimate bush plane, whether on wheels, skis or floats.
