Owner Steve Welter
became a member of CAA in February 2002. He lives in Portland with his wife Kathy and
is employed at Micro Systems Engineering in
Lake Oswego.
Steve
purchased 4816T in January 2000 from the second owner who
flown it for 27 years. During the last 27 years quite a few modifications have been made such as Wing Tips, Aileron Gap Seals, Flap Seals, Stabilator Gap Seals and a Lasar Ignition.
During Steve's ownership, all 4 Cylinders have been replaced and a MX-20 and
GX-60 have been installed. This aircraft was originally purchased from the Piper Dealer located at Sportsman Airpark.
