Nancy and I are honored to have our Mooney displayed as the Airplane for the month.
 
This is our second Mooney which we have owned  8 years.  It is a 1984 K model 231 SN: 25:0800, with 2450 hours and 700 hours on a Mattituck rebuild engine.
 
The model Number, (231) is significant in the aircraft will cruise 231 at 23,000. Normal fuel Burn is 12.5 to 13.3 gallons an hour.
 
47BE has a Continental TSIO 360 LB,  Turbo Charged engine equipped with an intercooler and long range tanks.  (7.5 hour range with IFR reserve)
 
Other equipment includes, King Silver Crown Avionics, Storm Scope, Hot Prop, and built in Ox.
