The Viking
Tom Binder has owned N4081B since 1996 and this is his
second of three Bellanca’s he’s owned. It has a Lycoming IO-540-KE15 with dual Rajay Turbos and he keeps it tucked neatly in a hangar at Troutdale,
Oregon. The book cruise figures for the Turbo is max 228mph @ 20,000 MSL
(got boost!)
and Tom has seen these numbers at much lower altitudes, too. From a CAA perspective, he has the fastest Bellanca in the club, RJ’s is second, with Harry’s bringing up the rear.
The Exterior is Daytona White over Cinnamon Red with red and gold stripes.
Interior:
Seats three shades of gray leather/vinyl, with burgundy carpet.
