Bill & Karen Hollenbeck's Cessna 150

1969 Cessna 150
On the ramp at CAA

1969 C150 with a 150 hp Lycoming engine and a Robertson STOL wing.  1280 TT since new.
KX 155 nav/com, GX 55 IFR GPS, new transponder.  Interior is new (1 year) and new paint as of August 2002.  Was originally owned by an airline captain who loaned it to Ernest Gann (The author of 'Fate Is The Hunter' etc.) Ernest and his wife Dodie flew it quite a bit.  It's second owner was Mike Pickett of PAVCO Aviation in Tacoma.  It was his private airplane and never went into the instruction fleet, thus the low time.

Stall speed is right at 35 Kts and cruises at altitude about 115 kts.  It's a great airplane for Bill's wife Karen, a new private pilot.  She's building time in this new bird and pulled up to the CAA ramp on August 29th where these pictures were taken..
