Terrorists hijacked four airline flights Sept 11, 2001. All were flights from the east coast to California, and all were heavily loaded with fuel. At 8:48 a.m. American Airlines Flight 11 (a Boeing 767 from Boston to Los Angeles with 92 people on board) crashed into the World Trade Center in New York. At 9:04, a second airliner hit the trade center. The FBI says that was United Flight 175 (Boston to Los Angeles), a Boeing 767 with 65 on board.
