One of the Club's long-time Honorary Annual Members passed away May 4th, 2000.
Lev Richards was 92.

Lev was a reporter and aviation editor for the Oregonian for many years and both a military and private pilot.  He had flown over 40 types of aircraft and logged over 11,000 hours on his worldwide assignments.

Lev was on many of the Club's earlier air tours and responsible for making the Club known throughout the country with his humorous articles and photographs.  He also was responsible for many excellent programs throughout the years and wrote much of the copy for the Club's 25th anniversary book.  He is survived by his wife Virginia and two sons.
