News from Doc Cantrell on 8/28/01

    Herm Parsons is recovering from a very serious (nearly fatal) Staph
infection following his back surgery. I saw him Saturday and he is recovering
but extremely weak.

    Frank Whitney has had his left knee replaced. He is making a very good
recovery. Is up and around with a walker at this point. He wont return to the
club until he is able  to walk with a cane. Probably another two weeks.
