Note from Dr. Roger Smith regarding CAA life member Richard Cantrell

Richard F. Cantrell, DO, who lives in Mesa winters suffered a tragedy the day after Christmas.

His wife, Doris, had a stroke at home there. The 911 lads took her to hospital where she died.

Doc followed in his car and when he arrived at the ER he had an MI. They resuscitated him. Defibrillated him and did an angioplasty the next day. He now has an implanted defibrillator.

I have this from his daughter, Lynn Fish, who has gone down to Arizona to be supportive. She is Doc’s daughter by his prior marriage.

The president of CAA has been informed and will pass around a card at the meeting on the 6th. Lynn has requested no flowers.

She thinks the charity of choice will be announced later.
